Killaloe Diocese – Parish Collections 2019
At the beginning of each new year, we publish the dates of the Church Collections for the coming year.
The Church Authorities have nothing to do with the collections that take place outside the Church Grounds – permits for such collections are given by An Garda Síochána. We are usually not informed of when these collections are being held; so we hope that by publishing the dates of our Church Collections, others will avoid clashing with them. We thank those whom we know avoided this clash in the past.
The weekly envelope/basket collection in the Church is for the upkeep & maintenance of our churches & other parish property & the day-to-day running of the parish eg the maintenance of buildings, grounds, cemeteries, heating, lighting, insurance, repairs etc.
The Priests income comes totally from the Priests Collections which are envelope collections & are entirely independent of the basket collections.
The Priests of the Parish thank you for your continued generous support & wish you every blessing & good luck always.
Tax Back Scheme
If you are willing to help the parish by availing of this scheme (at no cost to yourself), please return signed forms to the Parish Office.
Thanks to all who have already done so.
Should you require parish envelopes, please contact the Parish Office.
Please use your weekly envelope to place your financial contribution to the Parish.
This will allow us to claim tax back on it – otherwise, your donations cannot be included in the tax-back scheme.
